Nice selection with the Taichi OC Radeon GPU; it should handle 1440p gaming well, especially with the X3D CPU for a smooth experience.
Good call on the Taichi OC GPU and the X3D CPU; they should pair nicely for 1440p gaming.
@anna85 I'm curious about the choice of the MSI PRO A620AM-B EVO motherboard—are you planning to overclock the 9800X3D, or is this board sufficient for your needs without overclocking features?
@tim_frame Thanks for asking. The MSI board is on my shortlist for its compatibility and features; overclocking isn’t a priority right now, so it should meet my needs for this build.
How do you plan to manage cable management and airflow inside the Corsair iCUE 4000D RGB AIRFLOW case with the chosen components?
@lisa98 Thanks for the question! The Corsair 4000D has good airflow and enough space for cable management. I’ll use velcro straps and plan to route cables neatly behind the motherboard tray for a clean look.
Make sure to update the MSI motherboard BIOS before installing the Ryzen 9800X3D for optimal compatibility and performance.
@coldfan Thanks for the reminder! I’ll update the BIOS before installing the CPU to ensure everything runs smoothly.
