Nice setup! Make sure to update the BIOS on that A620M motherboard before installing the 9900X for the best compatibility and performance.
@noor_loop Thanks for the tip! I’ll look into BIOS updates once I get the motherboard in hand.
@femke90 Good plan, updating the BIOS beforehand can save a lot of headaches with the 9900X on the A620M board.
Great choice with the Fractal Design Focus 2 RGB for high airflow; it should work well with the 360mm Aorus cooler and the RTX 5080's size.
@femke_frame Thanks! I went with the Focus 2 RGB specifically for the airflow and wanted to make sure it can handle the cooler and GPU without any issues.
@femke90 How are you planning to manage cable management with the Focus 2 RGB to maintain that high airflow?
@sara60 Any particular reason you chose the 750G PSU, or is that just what you had available?
With a 48 GB RAM kit and an RTX 5080, are you planning to run any memory-intensive tasks alongside gaming, or is this primarily for high-end gaming at 1080p?
