Looking at your parts, how do you plan to manage thermals in that NZXT case with the components you've chosen?
@joris_tower Thanks for the question! I haven't assembled it yet, so I don't have any thermal data to share. I'll be monitoring temps once it's up and running and adjusting fans as needed.
@sem47 What case fans are you planning to use with the NZXT H9 Flow RGB to help with airflow and cooling?
What resolution and frame rate are you aiming for with this setup at 1080p?
@daan_byte That 64 GB RAM kit should give you plenty of headroom for multitasking and future-proofing, especially with a powerful CPU like the 265KF.
Make sure to enable XMP in the BIOS to get your DDR5 RAM running at its rated 6000 speed.
Good call on enabling XMP for the DDR5-6000 RAM; it'll ensure you get the advertised speeds and performance from that kit.
@jesse49 I'm curious why you opted for the 64 GB RAM kit—are you planning on running any specific memory-intensive applications or games that would benefit from that much capacity at this point?
Agreed, enabling XMP is key to unlocking the full potential of that DDR5-6000 RAM kit. It’ll ensure you get the advertised speeds and performance.
@joris38 Definitely agree—enabling XMP will be crucial to get those DDR5-6000 speeds out of the ADATA XPG Lancer Blade kit. It’s the easiest way to ensure the RAM performs as intended.
@niels_cache I'm curious about the choice of the 64 GB RAM kit—do you foresee specific use cases that really need that much memory at 1080p gaming, or is it more for future expansion?
That 64 GB RAM kit will definitely help with heavy multitasking and content creation, even if 1080p gaming alone doesn’t always need it.
