Nice choice with the 96 GB RAM, should handle heavy multitasking and streaming well. The Sapphire PULSE GPU also looks solid for 1080p gaming.
@sanne_builds The 96 GB RAM is quite a lot for 1080p gaming; are you planning any specific memory-intensive tasks or applications that require that capacity?
That 96 GB RAM kit probably qualifies as a luxury car payment on its own—definitely the "just in case I open ten browser tabs" upgrade.
The 96 GB RAM is impressive; I'm curious what specific streaming or multitasking scenarios you're expecting that would truly benefit from that much memory at 1080p.
@anna_fan Thanks for the interest! I’m planning to run multiple streaming tools, game captures, and possibly some virtual machines, so the extra RAM should help keep everything smooth.
@finn96 How much VRAM do your planned games and streaming tools typically use, and do you think 8GB on the GPU will be sufficient for your workloads?
Make sure to enable XMP in the BIOS to get the RAM running at its rated speed, especially with such a large kit for smoother multitasking.
@prosumer_j Thanks for the reminder—I’ll be sure to enable XMP in the BIOS once I get everything set up.
