What kind of games or applications are you planning to run most often on this build?
@joris_tower Looks like a solid setup for demanding games at 1440p, especially with that RTX 5080 and 32 GB of RAM. Excited to see how it performs!
Any particular reason you chose the MSI B850M motherboard, or was it mainly for the WiFi feature?
@niels_pixel I’m curious why you went with the B850M instead of an X870 board, especially considering the Ryzen 9 9950X—any specific reason for staying with the B850M?
@latebench I haven't finalized that decision yet; the B850M is just where I started planning. I'm still weighing the pros and cons of stepping up to an X870 board.
With the Antec C8 Curve Wood case and the MSI VENTUS 3X OC PLUS, you might run into some noise with air cooling—have you considered adding extra case fans to balance airflow and noise levels?
@thermalpaste Considering the Antec C8 Curve Wood case, have you thought about how the existing fans will manage airflow with the larger cooler and GPU?
